Risk Disclosure
Last updated: 26 September 2026
Digital assets work differently from a bank account. Before you use the Global Finance platform, please read this notice so you understand what can go wrong and what is your responsibility. It forms part of our Terms & Conditions.
1. Price volatility
The value of digital assets can change quickly. USDT is designed to track the US dollar, but it can trade above or below that value, and BNB — which you need for network fees — can move sharply in price. Never hold more in digital assets than you are prepared to see change in value.
2. Stablecoin and issuer risk
USDT is issued by a third-party company. It is not a bank deposit and is not covered by deposit protection. Its value depends on the issuer’s reserves and conduct, and on regulation of the issuer. The issuer can freeze addresses; regulatory or market events could affect the ability to redeem or trade USDT.
3. Irreversible transactions
Blockchain transfers cannot be cancelled or reversed once confirmed. Funds sent to a mistyped address, to the wrong network (for example USDT on Ethereum or Tron instead of BNB Smart Chain), or to a scammer are generally lost permanently. Always check the address, the network and the amount before you sign.
4. Key loss and self-custody
You alone hold your private key and seed phrase. If they are lost, deleted, or stolen, nobody — including us — can restore access to your wallet or recover its contents. Back your seed phrase up offline, in more than one safe place, and never store it as a screenshot, email or cloud note.
5. Network fees and congestion
Every on-chain action pays a network (gas) fee in BNB. Fees rise when the network is busy, and a transaction sent with too little gas can fail while still costing a fee. BNB Smart Chain may also experience congestion, outages, forks or protocol changes that delay or fail transactions.
6. Smart contract and protocol risk
Tokens such as USDT, wallets and the blockchain itself are software. Bugs, design flaws or vulnerabilities can be exploited, and losses caused by them may not be recoverable. Only use wallet apps from their official sources and keep them up to date.
7. Regulatory change
Laws governing digital assets are evolving and differ by country. New rules, enforcement actions or tax changes could restrict access to the platform or to digital assets, change how they are treated, or make certain activity unlawful where you live. You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you.
8. Phishing and social engineering
Criminals imitate websites, support teams and wallet pop-ups to obtain seed phrases or trick people into signing harmful transactions. Always check you are on the official website (globalfinance.online), read every message your wallet asks you to sign, and remember that our team will never ask for your seed phrase or private key.
9. Third-party services
The platform relies on third-party services including wallets, blockchain infrastructure providers, block explorers and the stablecoin issuer. Failures, outages or security incidents at any of them may affect your use of the platform or your ability to move funds.
10. Tax
Digital-asset activity may create tax obligations. Tax treatment varies by jurisdiction and may change. You are responsible for reporting and paying any taxes due; seek advice from a qualified tax professional.

- Send a small test amount first when using a new address.
